PRC Releases April 2025 Civil Engineer Licensure Exam Results — 4,940 Passers Announced

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced today, May 6, the results of the April 2025 Civil Engineer Licensure Examination (CELE). A total of 4,940 out of 16,913 examinees passed the rigorous two-day board exam, resulting in a national passing rate of 29.21%.

The results, released in accordance with PRC Resolution No. 1927, Series of 2024, mark the conclusion of the first CELE of the year. The examination, held on April 28 and 29, 2025, took place at various testing centers across the Philippines, including key cities such as Manila, Cebu, Davao, Baguio, and Zamboanga.

The Board of Civil Engineering, headed by Engr. Praxedes P. Bernardo and composed of members Engr. Pericles P. Dakay and Engr. Romeo A. Estañero, administered the exam. The PRC did not release the names of the successful examinees in this initial announcement, advising those who took the exam to check the PRC website for the complete list of passers and further details. The official list, including individual scores, will be available soon.

The relatively low passing rate highlights the challenging nature of the CELE and underscores the high standards maintained by the Board of Civil Engineering. The PRC congratulated the successful examinees and encouraged those who did not pass to continue their studies and try again in future examinations.
